My daughter has her first cleaning scheduled for March however last week she fell and busted her mouth, bruising her gums and chipping her teeth. I called Growing Smiles right away and was able to send pictures. The office called back quickly after the dentist reviewed and I was put at ease. This week we had an appointment to check on the healing. My daughter does not do well at drs. They were so patient with her and quick. I honestly can’t say enough good things!

My daughter Bailey went to the dentist and she did fantastic!! So proud of her. We love Growing Smiles! They made her feel so comfortable, and made her laugh. They are absolutely FANTASTIC. I am so glad we switched to this dentist, the great reviews were right on point. Bailey is only 4 and she has always had high anxiety when going to the doctors and dentists, so she was crying when we got there.....within minutes they had her laughing, smiling, and interested in what they were doing. They explained everything they did with her teeth and relieved all her anxiety. She told me recently that she wanted to stay longer at the dentist! 🤣

Just had a great experience at Growing Smiles in HdG.
Took my 8 and 10 year old for their appointments, but had my 1 and 2 year old too. Their waiting room was bright and filled with toys, books, and a fun boat to climb on. They realized I had the babies and was outnumbered so the dental hygienist took the older kids back and then came out to go over their check-up so that I didn’t have to drag the babies back.
Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Easy to get an appointment, fast, and efficient. The kids loved it and even got a token to get a toy at the end.
Figured I would pass along my experience since it’s very rare for a trip anywhere with four kids to be enjoyable. 🙂
It’s located in downtown HdG, tons of street parking and close to shops. Also a location in Bel Air.

I love this practice. Been going here since both my children were little and they have always been absolutely wonderful. Today my teen had to have a tooth extracted and was extremely nervous about it. Dr. Todd Lyman took the time to explain everything to her and completely put her at ease. The tooth was out in no time and my daughter who normally fears doctors was smiling and laughing at the end. Dr. Lyman even took the time to “fake” a photo for my younger son. I recommend this team to anyone looking for a great dentist.

My boys love Growing Smiles. One of my boys used to be a runner 😀. They were so patient with him. Both my boys are older now and they love it there. I wouldn't think about going to another pediatric dentist. They had a routine exam yesterday and their appointments were scheduled about 45 minutes apart but when we got there, they took them back to back. Definitely recommend for kids.

Talking with the staff at Growing Smiles Dentistry literally puts you in a good mood! Even if it’s just an appointment reminder. They are the literally the most friendly, uplifting and positive office I ever dealt with. Let’s be honest, when are you ever excited about scheduling appointments, filling out forms/referrals/paperwork etc at any doctors office??? Also, I have to mention how amazing they are with my son! It’s common for people to feel anxious about the dentist, even some adults. (🙋🏼♀️ lol) However the way they treat him, talk to him, and discuss everything that they are doing (because let’s face it, there’s a million questions, and a few more thousand after that 🤷🏼♀️) Everyone there makes it such a positive environment to where my son doesn’t have to feel scared or unsure, because he know Dr Bailey and his staff are his friend! 👨🏼⚕️🦷😁

I was at the White Marsh office for my 10 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son. The office was clean and nicely decorated for the season, the staff was very kind, and I was seated in less than 5 mins. Ms. Jenn and Dr. Diana (they're first name based and I find it very friendly) were amazing with my kids, very gentle and kind. I especially liked it when Ms. Jenn tried the polishing bristle on my son's finger before she actually applied it. I highly recommend this place!

Dr. Lyman was very patient with my son and his expertise and recommendation of a recently developed treatment option made the visit a pain-free experience. My son had a very painful experience trying to have a cavity filled at another dentist who was unaware of the newer option. They recommended a different dentist with an unpredictable bedside manner who uses partial sedation with medication. I looked for another option and thankfully found Growing Smiles. I highly recommend Growing Smiles!

The staff is so friendly and every dentist we have seen so far has been great with my three year old. The atmosphere is welcoming, bright and clean. I have referred many people to this location. My 3 year old has had dental issues because of a fused front tooth and this was the first dentist office to perform an X-ray and get to the bottom of the problem; I finally got answers and he received treatment. We Love Growing Smiles! Dr. Lyman always relates to my girls whenever we go. When my oldest daughter was 2, she came in for her first cleaning and check up. I had my younger daughter in the carrier. She was an infant. The baby was crying, and my 2 year old was overwhelmed with her first visit. I was very stressed, not knowing what I was going to do. Dr. Lyman asked if he could hold the carrier while we talked about my older daughter’s teeth. He swung the carrier back and forth for me while we discussed the check up...which went lovely! The hygienists were so kind to my older one who was a little nervous, and helped her through her cleaning. Dr. Lyman swung the carrier to help my baby stop crying, and had me sit and take a break as we talked. He will never know how much he touched my heart this day.
We’ve been going to Growing Smiles ever since! My girls are 3 & 4 now...and Dr. Lyman still treats them like princesses and relates to them on their level during their check-ups. We had their 6 month cleaning done this morning, and Dr. Lyman saw they were wearing Paw Patrol shoes. He discussed Paw Patrol with them during the check-up like it was his favorite show he has ever watched. So gentle and kind with them during the check up as well. And again...the hygienists are always phenomenal! We will never go any place else! My girls look forward to going to the Mario room during any check-up! And they love their balloons and their trips to the treasure chest when they are finished with their cleaning. WE LOVE GROWING SMILES!!!!

I have been taking my kids to GS for almost 10 years now and have had nothing but good experiences. I have a child with special needs, who didn’t handle going to the dentist well. They worked with me for a year to get him to the point where he can go in and have a full exam and cleaning with no problem. They took there time with him, were patient and encouraging. Even now when a procedure comes up, they find the best way to make things successful for him. Their Dentist, Hygienists, Techs, and Administration has been hands down the best I have ever encountered. A professional and caring operation all around. I am proud to say my kids go there!

OMG...what an amazing office. we bring all our kids here and it is HANDS DOWN the best place we have ever gone to for dental care. the staff is professional and courteous...and so good with kids, especially the younger ones. our youngest is 4 and they make the whole experience for him as easy as and painless as possible. they really care about how your kids feel about dental hygiene and going to the dentist. their concern really shows in their work. 10/10 highly recommend, you wont need to find another place

Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry has been so great for our children for their first experiences going to the dentist. the staff are very welcoming and the bedside manner is absolutely the best. We loved the White Marsh office so much we recommended it to friends as well.
I recently received a hand written thank you note and gift card from Diana for a referral who started taking their daughter there. As a small business owner myself, the gesture is very much appreciated.

Awesome. I've been taking my 15 year old daughter here for 4 years now and soon my 11 month old daughter. Wonderful doctor's and staff. They always have a smile on their faces. And it's so kid friendly. I just took my 15 year old daughter yesterday and my 11 month old baby was having a blast playing on the tablets they have in the waiting room. It surely kept her occupied while her big sis was getting her teeth done. They answer every question you have and explain it so even the child understands so while she's getting checked out she's also learning. It's just a great atmosphere all around. I would definitely recommend family and friends to growing smiles in Bel air. Thank you guys keep up the good work.

Update: Less than a year after visiting my daughter has an infection under a cap, THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN, also started to have pain in another. They are so hyped to get it fixed yet it's a month out. My oldest daughter had a cap for 3 years and no issues went to Dentistry For Kids, which we will be returning to for our future appoints.
Love everything about Growing Smiles from the first step into the door to the last have a nice day out the door. My daughter has both High Anxiety with dentists and doctors and also suffers from Asthma. When she was little they didn't accept our insurance (some off life ins policy co.) so we couldn't go to them. We have seen 6 dentists in 4 years from White Marsh to Bel air, who were not willing to work with my daughter. One dentist we saw 3 times for 1 issue and she still said it was nothing. Flash fwd to now they accept our insurance we made an appt, she went to three visits to get the problem spots taken care of AND the girl who hated the dentist now can not wait till her next appt! So thankful for Growing Smiles! They are so wonderful with my daughter! <3

We went in today for a consultation for two cavities, My daughter is 3 1/2 years old. The entire staff was extremely friendly, During my daughters first visit, she was very scared, but as soon as she walked in, the staff welcomed her with a sticker and asked what her favorite color was and promised her a purple balloon after her check up, and showed her where the play area was and showed her the huge selection of children's books she could sort through while we waited. The hygienist and dentist Dr. Adkins were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without missing a beat. (about side effects of Nitrous Oxide and how will they do this procedure without my daughter getting freaked out about having a mask on and numbing gel, etc., and how to prepare her for it with instructions on what not to eat/drink and how long it would take and how she would act after getting cavities filled.) I didn't feel rushed during our visit. My daughter even connected with Dr. Adkins on a more personal level and chatted about their love of animals and dogs. Our wait was only 10 minutes and anyone who has small children knows that time is precious with a nervous young child. My Daughter Haleigh felt extremely comfortable with the dentist and everyone there, In fact....On the drive home my daughter kept asking when will we go back and see these nice ladies. Our experience was amazing and I highly recommend this particular office. The cherry on top if this experience was Haleigh was given a gold coin after her check up- and she could choose any one of the prizes in a quarter type ,machine like they have in grocery stores. This office makes the children first! and I love that! Thank you to the entire staff for making todays visit smooth and fast for a mom like me. I have a hectic schedule, and an infant along with my other daughter - We don't get many days like this. It was a great start to a great Day!

This place is amazing! My girls are very scared of new things and they tend to tense up and not Cooperate. My 7 year old went first and the Dr. Diane (spelling maybe wrong) was very patient and kind. She told her everything she was doing, laughed and joked and made her very comfortable. Another Woman came in (I did not get her name) for my 2 year old and was patient and talked to her. The assistant that we had was kind and pleasant. She talked to my girls like they mattered and even praised them constantly for doing a good job. They did so well and I’m very happy with the service and how informed I was about what was going on with their care. I’d recommend to everyone with children!!!

My 5 children have been seen by Growing Smiles over the past 12 years. We've always had the best care there and I recommend them to everyone. The office staff is always very friendly and accommodating to our busy schedule. The hygienists and staff are very kind and do a great job even with my kids who were a bit shy and scared to go for the first time. All of the kids actually get excited to go to the dentist, because they make it so inviting. The dentists including Dr. Diana and Dr. Lyman are professional, knowledgeable but also very friendly. We had a few emergency situations over the years dealing with the kids teeth and they have helped us through those situations smoothly - sometimes talking over the phone or squeezing us in for a same day check up. Its always easy to get an appointment. Thanks Growing Smiles for serving the families in Harford County the way you do!

I absolutely LOVE this office and the staff I had all 3 of my kids treated last Friday all in the same room, the dentist was fabulous the assistant was amazing very friendly made you feel more as friends. My kids were comfortable sitting in the chairs waiting to be seen.. the office is super clean. Giving the kids a gold token at the end to use in the machine to get a toy is a great idea! I'd recommend anyone to this great office! Thank you guys!

What a place! My son is only 15 month old and granted, he cooperated (phew, thank god), but they were grand! Everybody was very pleasant, the place is beautiful and they give them all kinds of little toys and books to entice them to come back. My son loved the balloon at the end.

Dr. Diana and her staff are amazing! I take my 3 year old to see this practice and they have always done a fantastic job! Yesterday, while babysitting my autistic nephew, one of the brackets from his braces detached from his tooth and the wire was left sticking out of his mouth. He lives out of town and his Mom was on a plane. I tried calling every orthodontist in Bel Air but learned none of them work on Fridays! I called Growing Smiles in a panic, wondering if they could help...Dr Diana filled us in, took great care of my nephew, and was very understanding of his special needs. I will always bring my children here. Bravo!

You guys are the best!! My daughter has sensory issues and another daughter that is scared of doctors, and you guys were so patient , even tho they cooperated. I was really worried about my one daughters fear but you really eased her. I would recommend you to ANYONE. The staff is just amazing, the balloons, the tokens they get! My youngest had her teeth surgery through you guys at the hospital and you were nothing but wonderful!
